How does it work?
Phonebox tracker operates through the installation of a tracking device that utilises the Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine location, speed, direction and time.
Thisinformation is then logged and transmitted to the tracking server via General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) which is a Mobile Data Service available on the Global Systems for Mobile Communication (GSM).
The resulting data is then presented on an extremely user friendly, web-based application.

As well as being able to track the location of any vehicle fitted with Phonebox tracker, you are also able to view a vehicle’s behaviour - the direction, speed as well as viewing the location on up-to-date satellite maps.

Lone Worker Protection
Organisations are now required to comply with duties towards lone-workers under the Health & Safety at Work Act and the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations. Phonebox tracker provides the visibility to comply with this legislation by:
Scheduling Appointments per vehicle
- Providing alerts when time slots are missed
- Panic Alert button fitted to the vehicle
Vehicle Tax
From April 2007, the benefits-in-kind tax charge on company vans was increased from £500 - £3,500 per annum.

The Corporate Manslaugter Act

Working Time Directive
 The Working Time Directive is a collection of regulations concerning hours of work, designed to protect the health and safety of workers.
Key features are the limiting of the maximum length of a working week to 48 hours in 7 days, and a minimum rest period of 11 hours in each 24 hours. Phonebox tracker enables businesses to meet these regulations by:

How does Phonebox tracker help?
- By monitoring the driver & vehicle behaviour, PHONEBOX-tracker can ensure that a vehicle is being driven in a
way that minimises the impact of the vehicle’s emissions.
- Drive gently – racing starts and sudden stops increase fuel consumption.
- At around 50mph (80 kph) emissions will be lowest, rising dramatically above 70mph (110 kph).
